Guests can spend peaceful days relaxing by the outdoor pool whilst enjoying drinks and snacks from the bar. Kids have their own paddling pool and playground, and entertainment is provided at the mini-club (4 to 12 year olds). The hotel also provides a daily program of entertainment and evening shows for adults and children. Practical amenities at the hotel include a 24-hour front desk, concierge services, and currency exchange. Guests at this hotel have free access to all the H.Top hotels along the coast from Calella to Lloret de Mar, including use of their bars, restaurants and services, and there is a free shuttle bus which runs three times a day between the properties. Activities offered range from archery, and rifle shooting to water polo and scuba diving. There is health club, free of use to guests, at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar, with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. For golfers, special rates are available at the PGA Catalunya golf course. All-Inclusive plan - The All-Inclusive rate includes the following: room accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant; all local alcoholic beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks, tea and coffee from 10 AM until midnight; snacks including burgers and salads until midnight and ice cream for children from 8 AM until 6 PM; evening shows and daytime activities; kids mini-club (4 -12 years); two excursions to the Medieval Castle (includes dinner) and a flamenco show at the Gran Palace (mandatory bus fare applies to both excursions); free shuttle bus to all the other hotels in the group and use of all facilities at these properties.
From Girona taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and the fare is approximately 60 EUR. There are also buses and trains to the resort. The bus takes costs 5 EUR. From Barcelona Airport a taxi will cost approximately 75 EUR. Trains also run from the airport direct to Santa Susanna station; the journey takes around 100 minutes and costs 6 EUR. Santa Susanna is easily explored on foot and there is a free shuttle service between the hotel and other resorts along the coast. A hire car is recommended for longer trips.
Driving directions: From Girona Airport, take the main road N-II in the direction of Barcelona and then towards Santa Susanna (about 20 minutes). From Barcelona Airport, take the AP- 7 highway in the direction of Girona up to Granollers then the freeway to Mataro. Take the C-32 highway in the direction of France. Exit the highway and the town is seven kilometres away.
