
The hotel is situated in the old Albayzín, a neighbourhood that has been declared by the Unesco as World Heritage. From the hotels galleries guests can contemplate the spectacular panoramic views of the Alhambre day or night.
Recommended in various hotel guides including 'Small Charming Hotels' (Pequeños Hoteles con Encanto). The hotel comprises two small Mudejar buildings, that were built during the 16th century. The Alhambra Hall has an authentic Mudéjar panelled roof built in 1512 and for special occasions it can be converted into a dining room for groups of up to 35.
Its outstanding patio is beautifully decorated with paintings, a fountain, columns, balustrades, ornamental tiles and in particular the renaissance paintings given by Alejandro Mayner and Giulio Romano, disciples of Rafael, who came to Granada in 1520 to paint the Peinador de la Reina in the Alhambra and also the Palacio de Santa Inés.
By Car: - From the Autovia de Granada take the middle lane on Calle Recogidas leading onto Calle Reyes Catolicos. - Here you will find a sign prohibiting the entrance of unauthorised vehicles, as a hotel guest you are authorised so continue forward. - When you reach Plaza Nueva if the access to on your left-hand side is closed ring the bell for the hotel and we will let you in. - Further up there is a sign for the hotel. We have a service to help guests with their luggage and cars (not available July and August).
We recommend that you park in a public car park Neptuno located directly next to the Exit 129 (Recogidas Centro) and take a taxi to the Hotel due to the difference of the price of the car parks. The closest one is more expensive. We do however offer valet parking between 10:00 and 18:00 if you choose to leave your car in the closest more expensive car park (not available July or August).
