Originally built as a palace in 1876 the building was carefully renovated into a hotel in 1998 and still conserves many of its original features and character of its neoclassical style: the facade has romantic and baroque details; there is a generous entrance that would have been used for the transit of old carriages, that leads up to a magnificent interior courtyard, which today is the hotel's reception and bar from which you can admire the marble stairs that take you up to the 74 rooms set over 5 floors.
The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona, in the cultural and shopping centre, just a few steps from Plaça Catalunya and the Cathedral
