The second building, the Palacio de los Mendoza, an ancient Medieval resting place built on the foundations of a Roman construction, has been home to the Hotel Emperatriz since 1960. A sober building combining a Renaissance facade with Gothic interiors and a patio with porticos built in the 14 th. Century with tiles from Talavera.
