The 4rd. generation of this family run 3 star hotel has renovated it completely in 2006 to offer a service of high quality. The result is 28 en-suite bedrooms decorated in country style and a cosy, informal restaurant offering the specialities of Catalan cuisine. Located in the city center, a wide variety of shops are within walking distance. A stay of a few days in Hotel Ripoll can bring you in contact with superb views and walking tracks discovering the Natural Park Montseny (visitors centre 30 minutes) or taking a look at less known villages of the Costa Brava like Tossa de Mar (Ava Gardner) or Palamós (Truman Capote). Of course the main atractions of the Girona area can be added to the daily planning : the Dalí Museum in Figueres , the Jewish Quarter in Girona , the Natural Park of la Garrotxa or the lake of Banyoles are all reachable in less than one hour.
