This enticing and unique hotel was originally a convent and has been lovingly restored and converted into a stunning and contemporary hotel, respecting its interesting past and preserving its charm. When you enter the hotel you will feel like you are stepping back in time, to the end of the 15th century, when the convent was built and run by the Brothers of San Francisco religious order. It was converted 1946 into a flour mill and now houses a museum devoted to the mill. The considerate conversion rehabbed and painstakingly preserved the original, spiritual character and craftsmanship of the convent whilst adding all the contemporary comforts of today.
